I've been using MIDI modules and Cubase (now updated to VST 3.6) since early Atari days but have have never had a sampler. I have bought a Sound Blaster live solely for this purpose (plus the full duplex) and in conjunction with the Sonido Media Orchestra Sound Font CD I am very impressed with the sound quality although I have found it difficult to use initially. The sound quality is quite amazing for the money. Being able to use your cheap system memory is brilliant.

My problem is that I tend to use the supplied Cubasis AV as it has been designed to enable easy sound font selection within the Inspector.

I don't know how to do this with VST, which is a waste, can anyone help?

Thanks in anticipation!

Frank
