i just added a new article on how to access and add controller midi data in cubase for newbies - it's a big page load as there is loads of pictures, but worth loading as the upside is, it's easy to understand for newbies - next article to follow will be about remote controlling the audio mixer to do automated moves on audio parts like sweep filters on audio-loops or vocals etc in audio tracks. ( to find the new article, see the Dancetech ARTICLES SECTION, & do a search for VST or Cubase)

thx k for this great articles for newbie Cubase users, but i have a strange problem here: I can't see any grey timbers to controll p.e. in the Key/-or Drum Editor. The lower control area in the Editor's is only a white window without any possibility to conrol p.e. the main volume etc.

Strange problem, somebody has a idea why i can't see the controller markers for editing in the diff. Editor's ???

thx for your help

but, when you open the window (drum or standard piano-roll edit), IS there notes above on the grid visible to you ?... if there is no notes in the bars/section you are visualy editing, then no controllers will show... or, they won't show if the CONTROLLER-SELECT button isn't set to a common value that has to be visible, like velocity - it should default to velocity actually....

huh!!!... if you just click and hold on the select button on the left, 'Velocity' should be third down on the list after PITCHBEND & AFTERTOUCH

in the DRUM edit, you MUST select/hi-light a drum on the left-side drum_name list, with notes on the grid, before any velocity or other values will be visible in the controller area below -
