Hey all you VirusB/KB owners! What is up with the FX on these machines? Explain to me how they are set up. Access claims they have "82" effects. However, I could not find any better explinations of this. Is it a multitimbral FX processor like Nova? Or do you get a certain number per part or what? Clue me in.

Yes. All FXs are multimbral except Vocoder and Delay.

wait a sec... no multitimbral delay? Does that mean that the delay setting is the same for each part? ie: I could not have a delay going at 1/4 notes on part one and a delay going at 1/16 notes on another? Hmm.... thats kind of a turn off.

No No reverb. You are right on Delay.
If general FXs are what you are after,
the Nova looks more like what you want.

Well damnitt! I still want the Indigo. I can live with 1 delay and no verb. I need a VA with a keyboard and the Virus Indigo seems like the best deal. I like the Nova and all but I just have not been that impressed with it (yet). Besides the new novation KB's are SO DAMN EXPENSIVE! The Virus seems to offer more for less and I like its sharper character. Anyone heard when the Indigo comes out or how much it will be?

I heard a price of $1695.00 for the indigo and $795.00 for the virus rack but the street price will be much less
