Ok im using a yamaha rm1x for sequencing. A EMU proteus 2000, and my access virus b. Ok when i lay a track down in the rm1x and proteus afterwards all i do is go into the edit of the rm1x and enter the msb lsb and program change then the rm1x remembers what voice i used in the proteus. Ok now with the virus to get more than one voice i go to multimode, but after i lay a track down i cant get the rm1x to remember whart voice i used in the virus, they keep changing, so does anyone know how to figure out the msb lsb and program change number for the virus sounds?

You don't have to do individual program changes for multis - that's what multi mode is for! Under the control menu in Multi-mode, you'll find a parameter called something like MIDI program master or something like that (I'll re-post when I get home).. Set that to whatever channel you want to send program change out on (I use 1). Simply send a program select (don't worry about MSB/LSB) from the sequencer indicating what number multi you want.

If that's not helping, then you're not saving your multis!
