i just brought the tascam 1000 for$ 499
it sounds great and has many features
i just got it on christmas so i have not really used it to much still trying to figure out some things but i think
its going to be a good choice the were
last month $1000 the came down i dont know why someone said it was not longer
being made but i gald i grabed one!

you do also realise that IQS s/ware (sawplus people) make a s/w app for controlling the old yamaha O1v called 'SAMM'... SAMM allows up to 8 x O1V's to be linked and controlled from the s/w giving you up to 128 digital total recall tracks sync'd to your sequencer s/w !! - g-g-gasp !! - O1V's can be had very cheap now..

Hi! I just bought the TAscam digital mixer myself. I have a SB live full and with the inmputs and outputs being at 48, I should be able to get a good track. I will send a folowup or start a new thread when I know more!
