hi...i have an allen and heath mixer with two dead channels...i was using a modded 303 (devilfish) without the use of a limiter (stupid) and now i have dead channels...my question is, is this something i can fix myself or do i have to without my mixer for two weeks...by the way...by dead channel i mean that even with the gain and faders all the way up, the signal is barely audible...maybe i used the wrong the term...thanks for your help....

i did the same stupid thing, and what exactly burned down i dunno, but it was one of these inducer like things that you've got loads of inside your mixer.you'll have to let it be serviced i am afraid.did you like the distorted sound so much?

Two of the channels on my VS880 have just died. The status buttons just won't function. I'm hoping it's just the pad sensors beneath the buttons. Soon as I back all my work up i'll take it in for service, not even gonna try opening the beast up myself.

Well hope you get it sorted k-wave.
