can anybody recommend a decent dat machine for home-studio use? I cant really afford to pay much so the only ones I can see are the tascam da20mk2 and the fostex d5. Are these any good?

erm.. yes to what? the dat?

it's a tascam DA20 mk2, 3 or 4 months old. I really have only used it to record one track. I got it on an insurance payout to replace a shitty sony model (lucky eh) which I also never used mutch.

Reason for sale is to raise cash for a microwave2 cos I master everything onto my hard drive and I can use my mates dat if I need to. So It's just sitting there taking up microwave2 space.

Are you interested? shipping will be free btw.

I`m from the UK but I dont have the money to pay for it so I was planning on calling up my Visa card so that way I get a warranty too because I`ve heard things about dodgy dat decks. Thanks anyway.
