Does rm1x send or receive nrpn s?
I wanna know if i could control the filters on unity ds-1 from rm1x? or anything that uses nrpns, can i control them from the knobs on rm1x?

the knobs sends only CCs.

The rm1x indeed can send NRPNs. I've not
tried to record them but I don't see why
not. To add NRPN events, select the
track you want to edit, press the EDIT
submode key once, press F3 (Insert),
dial up NRPN with display knob1, and
edit away with the cursor keys and
number pad. Hit F4 to execute your edit.
If the NRPN event already exists you can
just edit on the spot like any other
event.

I don't know unity but maybe you can
route CC messages to alter NRPN values.
If you route it through a software
sequencer you can defin

its not possible to send NRPNs with rm1xs "knobs". of course you can always record & add them in edit mode.

there a software called midi-ox, the latest update lets you create NRPNs from incoming midi signal (note, controller).so this might be a solution.

thanks guys, i really appreciate your help, i still dont know if i should get the rm1x or stick with cubase and get hardware synth...
