Has anyone noticed that the deeper you did into this keyboard, the more it gives you? I mean everytime I try to get any work done with it - I just seem to find some new trick. I will be adding a support are on my site - if anyone is interested check it out. The CS6x area will be Prouction Tips area... Also if anyone wants to start posting their music - let me know... I was thinking about setting my site up to be a serious CS6x/r resource...
Please send your feedback - if there is already such a source let me know... (where)

There are also these CS6x sites on the go at the moment, one with the new OS for download which fixes the arp sync bug.

Hi

I was bold over by the CS6 when I heard it a music event in London. I bought one and got to grasp with its operating system very quickly. It still suffers from the same problem that my ageing JV1000 has and that in performance mode, things start to sound a little thin. My other problem is now getting to be triggered (Arp) from Cakewalk. Its a no-go.I must be doing something wrong..I have decided to buy an MC307 to work with the CS6. I will post my discoveries if any one is interested. The reason for the purchase is that the CS6 sounds great on voice mode but I need idea's and help in writing RnB stuff. I have tried to load Midi files and wavs via the card filer software to the CS6 but it hangs my PC.. Anyone got any ideas on this... I wouldn't get rid of "Betsy" (my CS6X)its a really useful tool with some stunning sounds. Does anyone call their synths any names ?..

Peace

As for the calling your synths by name, haven't done it myself but my wife refers to them as my babys, my electric mistress - stuff like that. As for triggering the arps from Cakewalk - haven't tried it, I will lok into it for you, I use Cubase though so my results might vary... Anytime you put together info send it over, I run a cs6x site... Check it out and email me directly to get on the mailing list... Also get your hands on the new OS upgrade for the CS6x (it's on my site) this will fix a timing problem with the CS6x Arppegiator...

Any problem s - get in touch... PS I don't work for Yamaha - I just really like this synth and produce dance music for a living...

The Arpegiattor can be synced from Cakewalk no problem. If you go to this site http://www.interlog.com/~chinard/CS6x/faq.htm you will find out which setting to make on the CS6x and Cakewalk and find out how I did it step by step.

Thanks Swift.. I don't use cakewalk so I had no idea... Have you checked out my CS6x site? Setting up the next update (rather large, need more space). The only thing holding me back is angelfire (the provider) 5meg for a serious web page sucks... It's great if you want to post pictures of your dog, or your family vacation -but....
