I have the chance to buy one of these "grooveboxes" second hand. I can buy only one, can somebody tell which one is the 'best'?
BTW: I want to use in combination with my turntables!(I first thought the 307)

Run a search on RM1X vs. MC505 (or similar) and you are likely to come up with more information than you ever imagined. don't know about the 307, but you won't get a definitive answer. It's like a Mac vs. PC question.

I'd go with the RM1x, I have played with them all (not indepth) but I thought the RM1x had better sounds and was easier to use (over all).

got friends with all three and all complain about the roland, but none about the Yamaha. What does that say?
