Hi,
I am having a problem with my scsi cdrom that I have connected to my Yamaha A4000.
I start up the cdrom and then the sampler but when I go to disc program and try to import
a yamaha program I can't access the cdrom as I can't scrole across to the cdrom only my hard
drive shows up. It's kind of weird as i was using it about 2 hours before and it was
working fine.
I checked that the scsi number ID were correct and also that the cdrom was mounted but they
were fine.
Does this sound like a problem with the cdrom or even the cables atached?
Thanks for any help pete

is the cdrom at the end of the scsi chain? Is it terminated?

dunno then ......sometimes it matters in which order you turn each piece on so that might be worth a try. Is the cd rom drive listed by Yamaha as being compatible? Definately try another scsi cable anyway, sometimes these problems call all stem from a dodgy lead
