hi!
just got my a5000 with internal hd and zip(ide).
i just cant read form the zip, i see the folders, but its nothing in there. but there is, as i can see it on the pc.
i also cant format, the sampler says, zip not ready.
i think i got all the jumpers right and the connections should be ok too.
so i dont see the problem.
please help me with that, im completly new on the sampler...

first of all if the samples are wav files then you can only import them and not open them up like you would if it was a yamaha format sample.get a blank disk and format it in the a5000 then create a volume.after all you samples are loaded into the a5000 then you can save them to that volume.hope this helps some.
