I hope to be doing live gigs with my partner within a year's time. I do all of my sequencing at home with Logic on my PC. I have concerns about using a computer on stage although I know it is done. I have an XP-80 which has a sequencer on board and I wonder if anyone has used this type of sequencer as their main sequencer live. Otherwise I guess it would mean investing in a new or used one.

My friends band uses an xp-60 for everything live. They do ok, so I'm sure the xp-80 isn't going to be anyworse. Haven't used it personally myself, but they seem to do ok.

Thanks. That's encouraging. I guess I should start using it as a sequencer intermittently to see how it goes. Anyone else?
