This is a MIDI file of a band I recorded in my studio on the weekend. It's a 16 bar riff. The first
track is unquantised and how he played it and the second is the final groove (including fill) that they used on the final mix after some manipulation. He recorded it at 120 bpm and then sped it up. Try this groove at about 85 for the hip-hop inclined out there. The band is called Plum Jam and they're gigging at the Paradise Bar in New Cross on Sat.Nov. 27 if anyone in London wants to go check them out. The drummer is brilliant. They play live drum'n bass with Double Bass/Sax/Trumpet/Drums and DJ.
This groove is MIDI filed here with Tom's permission.
