I tried Recycle at a studio the other night. I wonder why I couldn't change the tempo even though I transmited the sample to new window. Anyone knows how this actually works?

I dunno about sending it 2 a new window, but if u send it back 2 a sampler, it works fine. Its a bit of an overrated programme anyway, methinks.

hmm Maybe next time I should try it with a sampler. I am thinking about getting a copy to work with my soundfonts though.

I am brand new to sampling. R-Tek, why do you think Recycle is overrated???

Its not bad - get a warez "copy" though. I aint been into this all that long either and when I started, I had everyone telling me "you must get recycle"; but when I actually used it, I thought "is that it?". It does do some nice things, but the price they`re asking is just ridiculous. Other people love it, but I barely use it and I get on just fine. If u like 2 work with loops, then it`ll b invaluable.

Recycle anit too bad.
When you use it for what i do ... makin mixman trks. Even though mixman can be considered a professional joke i like it.

The problem is getting originality out of it, which is why you need recycle to make your own trk files

Personally dude, i would find a copy of wave surgeon.
much better, you can play with the sample in real time
cut reverse, randomise , quantitise, etc etc...
much nicer to work with and a fuck lot cheaper too
