why when i try to program some of these grooves that r posted they end up sounding extremely way too fast?especially when i use 16th notes but i f i use 8th notes in double time they come out fine . can someone please explain how to read these drum grids?thanx

It is one bar long (4 beats)and each row represents one instrument. Each square represents a 16th note. 4 boxes=1 beat. They're counted 1 e + a, 2 e + a, 3 e + a, 4 e + a. The first square of each 4 is the downbeat of 1-2-3-4

If it's too fast then turn the tempo down on your sequencer!
