I just got a korg trinity workstation and when I hook it up to my mixer I get a loud hum now when I hook it up to a small bookshelf stereo it works fine or if it is hooked into something that has any other sources input it hums. I have it going to my dj mixer (bpm 250) then to my receiver (technics sa-ex 300)any ideas at all even if youre just guessing I will try any thing and if you have a trinity any info. that would be useful you can also give me. Thanx.

Check out for ground loops, that is a cause of a hum....not sure if it is the hum that you are hearing, also check that the cables you use to output from the trinity are correctly wired pin 2-hot(for uk, u.s is different), use mono cables, check the inputs of your mixer with other signals etc.......etc

What Gee said. Ground loop.

Start with one power strip and run everything from that.
