I've been trying to create some shufflin-style house beats using Logic 3.6, but I'm having no luck. My guess is that I'm not using the correct snare/hat combos, and my swing settings are off. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Use straight 16th quantization, then just manually move some of the hats between the 16th beats and voi la, instant house shuffliness. There really is nothing else to it.

You should try some of the grove temps.. I've always heard of house producers useing Sp-1200 for their groove. Does logic have a groove temp. for the Sp-1200? Linn drum machines or Mpc60 temp. would be good also.
Hope that might help a little
