Can anyone please help construct "solid" drum kicks like miguel migs???
what are the essential fx that you use on top of a typical drum kick??
is there any software to construct a kick from the beggining rather than use a wav sample instead?

oh yeah! I know those little red nord's can create pretty much any sound you want, even drums! I guess a bass kick, would just be a fat bass synth, cut really short.

I don't own one, but I was talking to this guy who does, I'll let you know if I hear anything back from him.

from the MM tracks i've heard it sounds like it's just a 909 kik, prolly eq-ed and compressed a bit
