Any one who has got a TB-303 should try this "trick". Buy an envelope filter pedal in a guitar store, and run your TB through it: SUPER FUNKY BASSLINEZ!!! We use a DOD envelope pedal. You can also use an old "Mutron" pedal or even a filterbox (eg. Sherman Filterbank) or a synth with input to filter (Pro-One, BassStation Rack etc.). This "trick" will also work great on a drummachine like the TR-707 or
the TR-808 (any box you like). You will get some really weird grooves!

We use a TB-606 with several guitar effects (especially distortion), it's a very cheap solution to the
original "dry" 606-sound, and with a pedal-box you can often change the effects in real time (they're some pedal boxes on the market with pot-like knobs). I've tried it on a TB-303 as well, but I like the pure 303-sound better.
