hello..i sold off my 303's about 6 years ago to buy modular sytems ( arp 2600, etc)..i was wondering if anyone had any ideas to make the sh101 emulate a 303..email halcyon@halcyonrecordings.com

I paid $380 Australian for one. Its only problem was that there were a few screws missing(from the underside)...
A bit like me really!!!

The Roland SH-101 is not too bad of a monosynth. It can produce some acidic sounds and it's got a shit load and a half of real time modifiers and a more intricate envelope than the TB-303.
THE PRODIGY uses one in live performance (or at least Liam was using one during the Jilted era, cause I think he's got his mixer mounted ontop now...) and I've heard it scream like a madman! If you can, check out THE PRODIGY's performance at the Phoenix Festival 1996, you'll hear it on FUNKY SHIT.
