would this sampler work alright for tranfering beats from the 909 off the rebirth program into the sp-202.....see Im on a tight budget right now and this is the cheapest sampler Ive come across.thank you!

there is the SP-808 coming out soon wich has an MC-505 and a SP-202 combined

Not really. The sp-808 is a sampler bigger than a sp-202 and a hard disk recorder...or so they say.

I had a chance to mess around with the sp808..I don't think it was that good..I mean I think you should save a little more money and get something else. Don't get me wrong it is what it is...But I think people will get board with it after a while. Or at least I would. I am no expert though. I mean the hard disk recording on the thing really doesn't intrest me I mean I have Cubase VST and it will do the same thing. The main thing roland is trying to sell on the sp808 is the hard disc recording.
Owell no need to bash but I think you could save a little more money and get something better for making music. It seems like Roland lately is just making bands in a box?? There are limitations to this..

yeah,someone told me the sp808 is going to be a 505/202 combined...I guess the told me wrong!!! Alright,well I did get the SP-202,um....I dont no if Im to satisfied with the sound quality.....I dont know,I mean my main concern is Im going to be perfoming live and I want it to sound good....do you guys think this sampler will work alright or should I check out something else in this price range?thank you

Mmmmh...They told me something about synchronizing the sp202 in the shop. I think you better sell it and save a little more for the Akai s20, which has a regular disk loader, but not the effects section of the sp202...mmmh, I hate technology, it�s so expensive!!!

Hey Eric, try Leo's pro audio in Berkeley. Its on Telegraph ave. Oakland-Berkeley boarderline. They fix keyboards and shit. Their prices are kinda high but I think they'll fix it. I take my ASR10 there and they add RAM and clean and so on. The phone number is (510)652-1553
