does it necessitate replacing parts? this might be a problem right (availability etc?) i can hear the note when i press the keys, knobs work fine ...everything except play! there's still hope right? RIGHT? YA GOTTA HELP ME PLEEEZE!!!

I could prolly repair it for you for fairly cheap, or buy it from you if you don't want it or if its too far damaged..

I thought you liked this 777 thing?
What's the deal? I could buy this faulty thing to if the guy wanted to sell it, but he obviously wants it fixed....

It my be expensive, but Robin Whittle (Devilfish) knows his stuff.
It may be expenive if you live in the states(?), but your dollar is buying more of ours than it has for a while. Maybe you should just mail him. Do a search for First Principles

Look at one of the other posts, buying a 303...he states that he might be interested in selling it.. I AM sold on the 777 and I will have one in my hands by the end of this week,, but, even if his 303 is too far gone to run the sequencer, I have a midi/cv unit that I can use to sequence it with, and I know enough about it to have it be useful even IF the digital section is totally screwed.. I can modify it so that everything works, including slides, accents, etc via midi/cv...So who doesnt know there stuff??

Yea, but you are right, if hes in the phillipines, it would be cheaper for him to send it to Robin, although I dont really know if Robin still repairs 303s, I thought he just modified them..
