so how do you program notes?.....I just what to soke up as much info on this thing as possable before spending 8 bills on it.thanx

Well, you have 16 step buttons.. You hit one, then it flashes and the note at that step appears in the display, then you use the up/down buttons to increase or decrease the note value that appears in the display. Then, you press another step button, it flashes and the display shows the note on that step, then you use the note up/down buttons to change the note at that particular step.. Its still a pretty good system, but not as quick as the tb303. I think thats my only problem with the whole unit, but it doesnt affect the functionality or the tb303ness of it, it just makes you take one extra step to enter in notes. BUT, you gain the ability to change patterns, loop points, etc on the fly, so you trade more useability in every other aspect for quick note entering.. I think its a pretty good trade off..

so when it shows the note value in the display is it the note name or what?

yes, it shows the note as a note letter, not a number.

The sequencer on the 777 is hella easy. Its just like Cyborg said. Push the button for note you want to change, 1-16, push up, down, glide, accent, or loop point for that note, and whoomp, there it is. Repeat steps. Once you see how its done, you wouldn't believe how simple it is.
