I'm trying to use an Ibanez Metal Charger pedal with a Quasimidi 309 (don't flame me, I know it's a bit off-topic). The result is that the pedal gets me hell of a noise and spoils the whole thing. My dealer told me that's a general problem with analogue pedals. My only idea is to use a noise gate - can any of you tell me a better solution? How do the pro's solve this? Or is this a problem just with the Metal Charger or just with the 309 (wich seems to have quite a high background noise level)? Anyone able to help me?

Thx,
Harald

Sorry for this... I didn't intend to answer my own questions here. ;-)
