I have the oppertunity to buy either a Juno 106 or a Korg Prophecy, each going for about the same price. I've read up on both and know what they're all about, but I was wondering from experience that maybe you people have had, which one would be more productive?

Juno has the better filter by far, but the Prophecy is the better synth - just a pain in the arse to program(unless you get a software editor...)

So even though it's monophonic, it's more versatile and such? You wouldn't go with the 106?

I had both and got rid of the 106 (needed the $).

Well, I'm gonna be using one of the two as my main synth, so all in all, you'd put the Prophecy (even though it's monophonic) over the 106? I guess I'll be doing lots of layering with it....
