If your in to the cheap stuff....get rebirth.....a little mo cash get a rmx1 by yamaha all in one box. for dope sounds, get a real 909 and an sh-101 cause they'll sync together. or an 808 with a 101 and a 303 cause these will all sync together too.

Now if you want to get silly and also have to go to school to learn all of the shit. go out and rob a bank is step #1.

step #2 is get away with the heist then run to the local gear whore store and purchase a good sequencer or sequencing progie (AKA) cubase or logic. then get a midi interface. ok thats good now will buy a good synth controller a kurzwiell or however ya spellit woul be quite tasty. now a rack module a nord rack is cool but I'd go with a Supernova by novation. Now run over to the samplers and get an akai or the yamaha A3000 is quite nice then a mixing board lets say a mackie 1604.

Now you'll need cables maybe a patch bay if you get some fx units, and a good sound card. Speakers and (step #3) a good education to use all of that good stuff.

good luck saving all your cash cause I wis I owned all of that stuff. or maybe I just do

Good options, GW. If I was on a desert island and could only have one synth, all I would need is my Access Virus (and a controller of course). Absolutely incredible machine. Anyone else have a "desert island synth"?

I love the 303 and its the sound I'm after, but all we are really trying to do is get people pumpin and jumpin. Do you think that they are going to notice if it's a 303 they are dancing to? I doubt it. I wouldn't give up modeled analog for the world. Besides, you can emuate the little guy pretty effectively if you know what your doing...AaARrREeE YyYOoOUuU THhHEeERrREeE?

don't forget......not all of us make electronic music for the floor. Some make electronic music for the head. A 303 is the ultimate tool for such a thing. So I'd say, 2 303's, 1 808, and heavy reverb on the 303's. I'm set for life.
