I know this has been probably been asked a million times,but I have been out of the loop(no pun intended) for a while. I am looking hard at the mc-303 and wonder what the difference is bewteen the tb-303? Please guys..in laymans terms...THANX

You're wrong, I've never heard this question before ...
Big,big,big difference , hense the sound
the filters , tb being a mono synth ,not to forget I love it as much as I love my girl.(If I'd tell you the REAL truth and she reads this I would be in big trouble!)I wouldn't trade my distortion-pedal for a MC-303.

Just my opinion...

There is really a huge difference I'd say they have nothing more than the name Roland and the number "303". TB303 is a monophonic bass synth while MC303 is a sample playback machine with a sequencer. You'll never get the classic 303 sound out from the MC303 that's for sure. If you really want the TB303 sound you'll be better off buying a cheap clone (if you don't want to pay yourself sick for a used original). I think MAM MB33 mark II is the best for value / soundwise. Syntecno Teebee is good too I've heard but much more expensive. Hope this helped a litte.
