I have a Mackie MS 1202 mixer. I am using this to send sound to a Audiophile 2496 via tape out and I am reciving sound from the soundcard via tape in. The problem is I get "bleed through" on my tracks When I record into Cakewalk Pro 9. I know that it is somthing I'm doing with the mixer connections, some kind of loop I'm creating. But I can't figure it out. Any suggestions? By the way I also have a AWE64 that I can put output to but if I configure it that way where should I plug it in?

Well, most likely your "tape out" sends a copy of what's going through the master outs. If you want to record individual instruments, you need to use an aux send or something like that. I don't have a Mackie so I can't help more specifically.
