wahey! - finally got my mp3 cruncher up and running and have uploaded 3 trax - sexy lady, on the slide and my wox-a-lude. any comments?????? all bedroom recorded - but on the slide got the vocals added and generally polished up at a studio in bristol.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

Is the vocalist guesting on "On the Slide" part of your regular kru? Did you write the lyrics??

Cheever (my partner in crime as one half of The Turbomen) wrote the music, arrangements and lyric for on the slide a couple of years ago - and our friend becci did the vocals. Haven't seen becci for a year or so now - but would love to get back in contact with her to lay down some more vox.

Just curious, coz we got a bit of a mad vocal thing going on with our music projects (took a while to find some good, *reliable* singers but now we have.. its really cool!!!)

If you're interested in producing stuff with any of the vocalists we're hooked up with, just give us a shout..

(They're not paid session singers or anything, just vocalists that wanna work with producers on trax to expand their own skills/experience etc..)

We're based primarily in the South East, what about you???

"Sexylady" is sorted as well. what a booty call track, bass line well in the pocket and fresh. love to hear a sista stylee backup chorus and/or change up on the lyrics, but that's just imo. lastly, possibly add a funky shaker line...would really funk out this one.

seems its right to stick with ya r&b (drop the wox-a-lude track imo)

...on the slide. That's a cool track. The girl voice fits in there nice. Got a nice reverb on it and sounds like you cut the 300-800Hz area quite a bit - works well. I picture hearing this track live somewhere at some bar/club.
haven't checked out the other tracksc yet...
