Has anyone here had any luck installing PNY brand ram in their a4000? Tigerdirect are currently selling 8x32 32mb 72 pin simms for $65. It's fast-page none-parity with a speed of 60ns. This should work shouldn't it? Thats a large chunk of change to risk the chance of it not working. Any information would be appreciated.

As far as I know the A4000 uses ram with 70ns access time, u could still try it though if its guranteed.

I've got a mate whos got an A3000 and that wouldnt even take ram bought from a music equipment distributer.

It's worth a go, but check out ebay.com first they have some 72 pin simms going cheap all the time.
