Go to the Music Home page, or if it's not there anymore go to Roller8 user profile which is under Crook Like Me Productions.

I tried listening but the connection broke. I'll try later. 56k might be too much for dialup.

raul. bro.

this is your style, my friend. I can see this in a DJ krush set NO PROBLEM

Id get me a dub-type B-line and throw it in there but thats IT. I actually was hummin one while it was playin. would have sounded sick

this is damn good shit, my friend. serious. you can hear the true love in there which, frankly, isnt quite the same in your other stuff

That is great stuff. I could hear a woman (or a man) vocalist really wailing out lyrics that the title implies, love and appreciation for her father. That's what the title implies to me anyway. Not saying vocals are needed. I could easily hear them. Nice.

uh..sitar...were you paying attention? the title is from a vocal sample in there;)

screw lyrics, man! theyre done, outdated, tired (especially ones about EL OH VEE EEE in any form )

serious tho raul...this is nice groovy shit. hope theres more

I HEARD the sample. Still heard vocals as a possibility. I prefer music without the lyrics too but what the hell, nothing's written in stone.

Thanks for all the encouraging words! As a matter of fact I do still have to finish the track and I think a bassline groove is in the cards for it.

And as a matter of fact, their is more new stuff.. I'll be uploading shortly.

Thanks again.

My ears can pick up a mesquito landing on a blade of grass outside the studio that slips into the mix thank you. Try to keep up with me dude. You should hear what I put together yesterday with my new ER-1 and vocoder. If you're lucky, I'll post a snippet of it :P

Sorry Roller8. This is your thread and again a really great track.

raul - i know this is an old posting, but i spent today listenin' to tracks here today and fuck me if my ears didn't perk when i gave this a listen. amazing downtempo, nightmares on wax style. last i talked to you, you mentioned moving back a bit to hip hop feel - me likes a lot. i don't think it needs a vocal either, and a bass line would be great. mmm, good.

Damn p.! Thanks a lot! And it's nice to see you back on the set (at least a little bit).

Thanks so much for listening and remember, you can run but you can't hide. I hope you'll be taking your studio rig with you and still find time to do a bit of music stuff. I still want to work with you guys!!!

Definately requiring a cuban sigar and velvet dressing gown this little numbe.
big fan of this little song. i've played 4 times in a row.
Bass? Oh god sweet merciful god yes please!
I like the vocals, because the seem add a extra dimension to it.
Just one thing that felt a bit out
the trumpet (or is it a sax ) doesn't seem to meld with everything. it's not that it's a bad trumpet, it's just that on 56-k it seems like the rest of the track has been placed on lo-fi and the trumpet hasn't. Maybe a vinyliser or something on the trumpet? Of course that's just me and maybe everyone else is thrilled to bits with it
