my freind has a esi2000, and he says it has a port on the back that looks like a LPT port. Is this an older scsi port, and what kind of adapter or cable is required? I was at a lose, as my e4 is syntronic(not sure on the spelling?).

must be a scsi port, you wont need an adaptor as you can buy scsi cables with just about every combination of plugs on either end.

its the exact same connection on ALL E-mu products with scsi. Hell even the Emax has it?

centronics. also known as DB50

the emax has an old rs port connector, no scsi but yes on emax2

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

the emax2 is a DB50 as well, no?
