I was trying to convert some files from a Roland S770 harddrive. My problem is that whenever I connect the HD to my PC's SCSI chain the computer freezes. I tried checking the obvious stuff like SCSI ID #'s and termination but still no go. I'm wondering if anybody has any knowledge about connecting a Roland harddrive to a PC or just connecting a sampler harddrive to a PC. I've connected sampler zips and samplers themselves but I've never tried to hook up a harddrive before so maybe I'm missing something.
