Hey!

i have got some big nova trouble. i downloaded the zip file:

"Supernova 3.1 Programs bank C & D for Nova. ( These overwrite factories in banks A & B! ) as .zip file for PC"

from novation website. i loaded my sequenser with
"novaprogc&d.mid" wich were the soundbanks. i restarded my nova holding down mute button til it said: "waiting for new os". i hit play in sequenser but the text "waiting for new os" still were there so i shut it down when nothing happened.

i restarted and noticed that i couldn change my
performance or program sounds. it stayed on one sound all the time wven if i went thru the sounds.

and after that i noticed that it didnt recieve midi from my controller synth cs2x.

what has happened!?? was it because i shut it down when it sayed "waiting for new os"??

how can i solve this problem?

it worked fine before i did this.

please help me

Ist das Dein ernst, Du hast die Instrumente auf das Rom gespeichert ?
Laut Deiner beschreibung hast Du's schon getan ( Scheisse !!! )

Is this Your Will, You have the Intruments-Bank over the Rom saved ?
On your Description you have now done it ( Shit !!! )

You musst Only load The Inrument-Banks C or D over the Instruments-Bank A or B
and not Destroy the ROM of Your Nova
The Manual have a very good description, to load new Instrument-Banks.

hey!

now everything works ok expect the midi. i cant control my nova with my cs2x. i have looked in the nova settings but cant find anything wrong.

the midi button on nova dont blink red.

whats wrong?

You should check if Midi Trrough is active in your sequencer and if the global midi channel of the nova has the right value

i have checked global and it seems right.

can it be some error in nova os?

Maybe you should test the midi out with a different synth modul...

Wich Version of OS Nova you use ?

I have an 'Yamaha RM1x' Sequencer combined with
the 'Novation Nova' OS4.0 updated and
no Problems. The Led of the nova every time functions normaly.

I think i will never try to use old
Instrument-Patches from 3.0

hey!

i have solved the problems with my nova. looked like the problem wasnt so big. there was a midi setting in global settings in nova i missed.

like always a small problem you miss..hehe

anyway does anyone have any soundbanks for nova to share?
