Anyone know of a really shitty belt drive turntable with a tone adjustment and a direct RCA or quater inch output? ebay? music stores?

I've never been satisfied with sampling stuff off direct drives or turntables made to provide hi-quality playback. I dig the lo-fi wow and flutter that comes from belt drives... thnx.

the tables will still sound very low fi if you use some low fi needles. just get some really cheap ones, or get a dj to give you some used ones- they sound pretty crappy despite the turntable quality. the more used the needle- the better the pop u will get.

naw, me no like the hiss ... I need a decent
signal that covers ground, without added
tones. Sumtin, that cuts the lows, trys to read
the mids, and gives you control of coloring
highs... pretty much a piece of crap like Fisher
Price type table

Currently, I own a table, but its on its last leg.
Lubricating the parts just an't working
anymore... maybee, I'll do some intensive
surgery, and try to figure it out... any ideas?
peace

I used to own a pair of Technics SL-10 belts. Try finding one.

whadda about this badass jvc multiple
speed?

I figgered out the table I need tho... one of
them breakout, carry-all box, polka party type
tables. Cheep tone knobs and livid styluses.
great for lo-fi sampling.
