..for me at any rate would be to be able to use the outputs as effects sends.
I've been using my Emu e5000 like this and it's proved incredibly useful.
I use a Yamaha 01v which has 2 internal effect units. Such a feature would mean that I could send a varying amount of signal to each processor for varying amount of 'verb etc.
If anyone from Novation's reading this, please consider implementing a way of doing this on the SN2 - it'd be really useful.
Unless of course somebody can think of a way of doing this on the current OS...?
