Finally the system is working.. trying to upload it for a while...
The track is called funky break.. my first funky type break thingy... the bass on the mp3 doesnt do justice... So what do you guys think?

yeah, because the dancetech server doesnt check the file for the bitrate... checks it for the filesize so i could upload anything if its under 1500kb... so i uploaded hihger quality, which takes much more space... but the end of the song is not that important... enuff about this...
any comments about the song? is it the x-mas?

Not bad, the bass is nice around 2:50... although it does seem a little muffled... And the highs seem to clash in a lot of places, but its prolly from the mp3 compression....
Have you considered bumping up the tempo a bit? Seems slow somehow.... If you could add another hi-hat pattern or a filtered break over the top (or middle) and speed up the drums and let the rolling bass do the pull thing... would give it a better groove, I think... Like at 3:45... you kind of add another hat pattern there, I think.... hard to hear it on these shitty pc speakers...

Nice track.

it just sounded kinda like that to me. its actually pretty cool, but...I think you need to spend just a bit more time finishing a track before you offer it up. you almost always come up with dope ideas, your beats are pretty damn cool, but you seem to have a hard time with finishing shit. that only comes from workin it out yourself really.

cant really comment on the mix much

and..where did you get the idea that Im tubby?

I'm gonna be a bitch... I don't like the sampled
snare with the added reverb hit (or sumtin)... it
sounds like the same reverb over and over... I
would throw maybe a extra effect on the tail or
something... argh, I'm getting picky, sorry...

good drum work dude. I think the warbly
bassline needs some oommph to it. Overall,
decent stuff... 130-135 bpm?

my friends call me tubby bitch... not that i am tubby but i am kind of a bitchy person like you... :P
I cant finish tracks... this one is not done... i know... i uploaded to hear what people think about it, what could make it more interesting...etc..
The sampled snare with the reverb is not a sampled snare with a reverb... it was a loop i found on a record that i took to recycle and normalize>each slice... and one of the slices was the tail of the snare but when it got normalized it sounded like that.. its kind of on the loud side... see my speakers suck... so when i heard it on jasons monitors they were way loud and the bass was too low... I fixed the bass and the reverby part... it is still there cause it give the song some swingy/funky feeling...
I am going to work on it with dj smile/jason tonite i think...
