Good for angelic choirs (REALLY good), but not so good for "Intergalactic Planetary" grit and grime. But I never really messed with it after version 4.0/4.1... the new filters might be all that's needed.

Try running a simple drum machine pattern through it, while playing some chords and a melody on the vocoder. I mean, connect the output of the drum machine to the snii vocoder input.

Sounds unusual to say the least...

"Intergalactic Planetary grit and grime"... You mean lowpitched, evil machinelike sounding voice ? I didn't manage to get anything to work well on low pitch so far, either.

Could it be an idea trying a different carrier ?
