I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

why upgrade if you don't get anything new?

More voices, more FM algorithms. I'm considering dumping my A for a C, but if I had a B I wouldn't budge, I suppose.

the Cs look really evil, with all the black and grey w/ red leds/lcd. i love it. seriously thinking about a KC. all the demo's i've heard of the virus online sound incredible. i've played around with a microQ and a nord3 (and they sound gorgeous) but the virus has... pppresence or something. it's really "there" (if that makes sense).

Strange that Access still only has 256 user programs. I would prefer the ability to save in all 1024 banks (with NovaaII you can)....I just can't see the problem why we can't beacause RAM isn't that expensive!!! I thought that was a matter of course, when Virus B didn't have I expected that C would have it!!

the b's and c's both have 1024 patches now.
bank a+b are user (256) and the rest are rom.

huh, just check their website and it says that
the b, kb, and indigo are discontinued already.
the c line is in production so many it won't be
too long before they get out.

i like em a lot... I have a B but im already seriously considering changing to a C because of the panel re-design... it makes a lot more sense and it seems they're somewhat influenced by novation as far as the manner in which the new layout follows... buttons for OSC select, effects parameter knobs, front panel arp control.. it seems a lot more intelligently thought out (if you can imagine that from those Krauts) than the previous versions. Plus the small internal changes are also cool. I still think they should have added some more OSC models, though. that would have been boss.

since they're using a next gen motorola dsp i think there will probably be some major improvements soundwise in coming upgrades.

as for using me as a guinea pig, formant, you're gonna have to wait a few months yet... ;)
