I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

btw...damn good track, man!!!! I was listening thinking that I would love to get this to my friends at KWS, but they are way more interested in "dance floor" stuff right now...which this could EASILY turn into.

I kept expecting it to drop out and come back hard and fast.

only thing is..the "break"...is at 2:44? it just kinda dragged til then...

This is really a cool track Ghost. I'm always fond of those dirty basses doing what they're doing here

Personnally I'm missing some explosion of energy, probably what Influx describes.... I get all worked up and restless when that happens, missed that here I guess.
This is staying on my H/D.

ha ha just goofin'... xoxos' posts always take me to new places, and then they drop me off without any change to call for a ride home....

thanks tho influx... for some reason, I keep messing with more offbeat breaks that are a little less floor-friendly... I like to see what other sounds I can layer in to try and fill out a rhythm.... sometimes it works, sometimes it really, really doesn't...:D

my next one will prolly be more straight-ahead stuff.... I'm really feeling the nu-breaks sound these days...

fek yeh influx! I'm not actually sure how to go about that, but I'm into it..... it's just that the song is such a big mess in cubase... there's bits and bobs from here and there on my hard drive - but at least the main drum/bass/lead tracks are all in one place... I guess I would want to get ALL the audio together somehow, right?

I'm heading to SoCal (Irvine) for a wedding and a small vacation the first week of June.... should be a hoot. I was going to see if any DT heads wanted to meet up... maybe hit a club, or even just meet for a drink....

I tried to meet some DT folks last year in Europe, but it was all a bit hectic over there... ;) anyway, better luck this time...

isn't there a function that copies all your audio files into the song folder in cubase? there's one in logic.

i had a friend like that, except he'd drop me off at a fast food restaurant and make me order a fajita except he'd only give me a ride back if i pronounced fajita like vagina.

there's something in cubase called 'prepare archive' and 'save pool', so I'll figure it all out and let you know the results.... gotta do it sometime.

the organization thing with all my audio is a continual problem. I keep forgetting to delete tracks I never end up using.... I blame society.

yes logic does that thing, but still not as a one click backup my file and audio in a directory thing. you have to do a little jig before it's all sorted.
