Well, they finally fixed the RM1x. So I thought I'd hook up the studio, see how it all worked. The result is this track, "Times Two"... it REALLY needs a vocal, this is clearly just a hip-hop instrumental, but I fleshed out the whole thing to add some of my funky Rhodes chops.

I'm afraid due to time and modem-speed restrictions, I've only uploaded the quality version to some webspace of mine... will work on a DT version. It's 5mb, mp3, OKish... very simple - even for me, I know this - but in about three hours in the studio for the first time in four months, I thought I'd mention it. RM1x sequences, S3000XL sounds, the 1201 tries to help out...

Bass is meant to be slightly distorted... didn't think it was clipping too much.

And ta for the keys prop. Once I've got a mic boom sorted out, I'm going to record some piano stuff, just because... for me, that's restrained, but I was afraid even that might be too indulgent...
