hey guys, I got a question for yas. Whats a better tool for music production syth's creation: fruity loops 3.4 or Cubase. I dont know anything about cubase. I heard its hard, but can it make synths like in Dumonde? If not, what software can?

Cubase is for sequencing, midi and audio editing.
you can make synth stuff by entering in notes urself and use also VSTI's, which are synth modules. Cubase has a lot....no comparison to fruityloops....fruityloops is good but it's no cubase.

It also depends on what exactly you want to do!

Reason--good to start with because you can learn about signal flow with mixers efx etc. and how to program analog-style synths. I can't imagine a better program to start with. Kerouac used Reason.

you shouldn't try to look at it like 'or', but rather 'and' because Fruity is really just a good loop building tool. Cubase is a utility for taking stuff from Fruity, SoundForge, Recycler, etc. and completing the idea, then if you're feeling brave, arranging it in a muti-tracker like Nuendo or ProTools. Good luck.

damn, i just got it...so confusing. I want my fruity loops!!! I dont understand this stuff. Its gonna take a lot of time to figure this one out. Also, i donwloaded and add on puging of pro 52, but fruity loops is not reading the plugin. I installed the right way...i think
