Heh, I've just hidden a TB303 on a spaceship's computer console model in a PS2 game. It's there in all it's knobby glory and only visible if you know what to look for.

If it stays there (Hopefully, nobody will notice), I'll let people know where to find it when the game comes out. It'll be in a couple of months.

Can I use its knobs to engage hyperdrive and fire quantm disruptor beams? Or how about fire hyper velocity missles at trance hating aliens bent altering the human time line so Astral Projection and Hallucinogen never existed?

Ill only be impressed if thats the case.

I had to argue with somebody today about keeping the buttons a silvery colour. Somebody wanted to make them Red.

I also hid the 303, 808 and 909 in a crappy Shiny game called Wild 9 a couple of years back.

They were the names of roads on some sign posts (Interstate 808, 909 and 303) Nobody noticed except a 303 obsessed game tester at Interplay.

Did anybody else notice the synth references in the matrix movie?? Or am I imagining them?

Yeah, often I see or hear references in movies... hell, mostly I think it's just me- when looking at my digital clock I somehow always tend to see 1:01, 2:02, 3:03, 8:08 & 9:09. I seriously need some help.

I do the EXACT same thing when I look at digital clocks. I make the sounds of the machines in my head when I see the time. I want an alarm clock that makes the corresponding noises at the aforesaid times. Help me.

alot of synth stuff ends up in the movies too. In Contact, all the gear they use to listen to the space message is racks of audio gear like fx proc and HD recorders. I guess it looks right. Shit, sometimes I walk into my studio and think im in the space shuttle cockpit

I'm here!

The game will be out very soon! The American release is at the end of Oct/start of Nov. The European release will be maybe 3 weeks after that and the Japanese release, who knows???

The good news is that the 303 has not been tampered with and it's clearly visible in the level AND in several in-game movies!

They decided to use the control panel in several movie sets, so as the evil boss is talking about his plans for intergalactic domination from the bridge of his ship, there is a row of maybe 4 303's in the background in plain sight!

Nobody will even notice if they don't know what they're looking for. I'm sure you guys will notice, though!

I'll announce the game title upon American release and post some screens then.

For my next trick, a 909 will be hidden in a new game called 'monkey tennis'...

The website was handled by Sony Europe. There was going to be a different one for the US, but they just decided to get a .com for everybody instead. I only found the website today myself. A nice surprise.

I don't think the movies have been released yet... There are some gameplay footage MPG's, but that is all.
