Well, it should be for the stereo spread yes, at least that's how they describe it but I should admit I have fiddled with it a few times but havn't really noticed much. Which in turn means I can't really tell. In short- you're right, don't ask for me when you have any questions.

I mostly just turn the knobs. it's not enough to use your ears. you must use your fingers as well.
I like flicking through the waveforms while sustaining a note. sounds like "remain in light"

Knowa, I just created a pad sound that does just what you're saying.. Using S&H to modulate the waveform of OSC2.. You can do some sick sounds that way.. Try some FM&sync and do the same thing

i think the second patch i ever made was an LFO->OscWaveShape pad... ah.
a really quick sweep (i.e lfo set to env mode) is good for a sharp buzz "attack/transient" too. then again, lately the sounds coming out of my virus are almost screaming "just get a sidstation already".
anyway, panorama a)adjusts stereo spread when using unison, b)adjusts stereo spread when using "split" filter routing.
um.. i think you can d/l the manual from the access website.
