sounds like it has nice density to it's minimalism, mor ewith less sort of thing. you've got a thing for just cranking out little mind candy landscape scenes..

Thanks xoxo. So do you think it needs a bit more to it? I'm guessing i could do a little more with the beat, i didn't really pay that much attention to that yet. I guess i can add a bassline in there somewhere. It might ruin it though - i'll give it a whack. see how it goes.

How do you people know what track to listen to??? I'm always reading posts in here that don't tell the name of the track, yet there are nice comments nonetheless. Am I fuckin missing something here?

he put the title tho in the thread title (agressive calm) - i like all the backing and especialy that ultra-high squeeky stringy stabby thing, & the swells... not sure about the beat tho...

Well damn, you've got a lot of tracks there, Paully! I didn't even get down to where Agressively Calm was before I gave up...

As said, the drums are quite nice. I like your lead sounds, but not what they're playing. Maybe vary the delay a little? I don't know, it sounds a little haphazard. Cool arp in the middle. Very trippy. Is there a bass, tho?

With just a little more, this one could be sweet. Nice one...

Thanks all for commenting.
k, yeah after listening to it for a while, i was thinking the beat was a little dry and i could do a bit more with it. Maybe around the time when the arp comes in. I guess i didn't notice it before because i was more fixated on the tune.

Psylichon, you are right, there is no bass. I didn't put one in there because i've actually tried it and it didn't really work out. I think it sounds alrite as it is. I'll try and vary up the lead sounds a bit thought. Just to keep it interesting.

Xoxo, not sure what you meant... went right through me.

hey...

i like that thing that comes in at the 40 second mark.. that sound is wicked... but then it's kinda overshadowed a bit... i just that elastic sound...

anyway.. it was pretty cool.. very hard and driving and then it just left ;)

I guess I'll save a new post by saying I've got another track up now. Its short and unfinished but you get the point of it. Its a bit off genre. I think its like progressive electronica. I like it but just needs more drum work and extended further.
