I'm tryng to emulate a 909 on a micromodular sistem. This is to get more controls over the parameter and to experiment...At the end I'd like to release one or more patches with stereo sound.
Anyway my problem is that...i don't know EXATLY how the schematics work. I found on the internet some schematics but they refer to diods and other stuff too complex for me...
Is there someone able to EXPLAIN of its chain work? I know there's a sampled wavefor, some ENV, a noise generator, a VCO, but in which way are they chained?

PLEASE HELP ME!

What EXACTLY are you trying to make? The kick? Snare? Toms? Rim? Hats? Crash? Ride? All are going to have different approaches, and then of course there's the function of the Accent as well. Not exactly a simple box to recreate.

of course you've ignored the fact that i've already made some brilliant percussion vstis. and they're all hosted here.. thumper, ecs, blaster.. trydat

if you check the syntheditusers group at yahoo, you'll find the .se1 files. not sure if it's quite the same way, but the clap's a clap, innit? sound fair to you?? some things might have different implementation on the mm, ie. i ran linear envelopes thru an exponential amplifier to produce exponential curves.. hey it's baron karza! that bastard!

I haven't at all. In fact I've DL'd almost all of them. Yet to open them up though, cuz I'm still mostly hardware. Still need to remix your tune and throw it back at you. Gave me something to think about on workin with this one!! Anyhoos, I want the schematics on the 909 for modding one out.

What a question, what else would someone recreate of a 909? 8-)

I just need to know how to put thing togheter, what I need, osc, which waveforms....filters...noises...
