uh...have your output set to SPDIF and solo the tracks?

or...bus them to say 1/2 and send that to spdif?

never used one, but isnt the s/pdif aligned/permenently wired to the main L/R OUT ? or can you switch it to take a BUS output pair? - I doubt, usualy they were put in for grabbing direct-to-DAT digital stereo mixdowns innit?.

I have a Tascam tmd-1000, and it's definately NOT hardwired to the L-R.

spdif is hardwired to stereo out so all you have to dois solo those channels

you can still buss them tho. buss the channels to one of four and then assign those to spdif...

yes it is, just as the s/pdif input is fixed to ch13/14 only.

well then, as mentioned already - EITHER mute down all unwanted channels or route channels to groups and then to master L/R out to blend multiple channels.
