don't worry so is mine and I got a xp2000+ and an nvidia G4 with tons of ram.. i still have to play in 640x480 with all the detail turned down..

dunno what you have to be running to be able to crank it up!!!??

no idea... it's been so long since i've been into hardware stuff...

i have a matrox g400 running on 2k (bad combo!) and p2. nothing runs but counterstrike ;)

maybe you need new drivers?

still trying to kick the q3a habit... :/

tomshardware.com (I think) made a brand-new benchmark based on the UT2k3 engine...

the new Radeon 9700 scored the highest with that benchmark, but it's like $399.

nVidia will be bringing out their new card (I previously heard by the end of 02, but who knows?)... the NV30 or something like that. it'll smoke the Radeon 9700 if the rumours are true.

i remember that game... the one-shot-you-die one (i think it was 1942) was too much for me.. but i liked the health bar one for awhile (1943?).

pretty soon i'm going to have to get a computer so i can play video games again ;( so nerdy but owell

oh, THAT one...with the litle airplane that could do all these loopings and had to shoot down japs...yeah....I just just luv those 2d sprite based 1980's games...it's realy worth getting MAME32 to play em.
