!!!!error code 0xFFFFF06d shows up on my Yamaha AW2816HD after I turn the power on. Then the whole system "freezes" disabling everything. WHY is this and what does the code mean?

Good job it wasn't 0xfffff06e, that means that the ghost of Jim Morrison has taken over your mixer and is urinating on the connections.

0xfffff06d can be serious though, has someone with red hair and a small lemon shaped birthmark on thier upper thigh been using your system ?

I love these easy to understand error codes.

Is is it out of memory? In OSs it used to be standard to count from ffff...etc downward for memory errors and corruption, and 0...1...2...upwards for OS errors and other known errors.
